The Denver Journal of Education & Community

DJEC is a community education journal focused on topics of education in the greater Denver area. By engaging in community discourse, and connecting this content to scholarship and policy, DJEC hopes to contribute to local education thinking by offering a balanced and well-informed perspective.

@ Issue

In addition to our Academic Journal (DJEC), we’ve created @ Issue, our online digital platform that continues our commitment to an ongoing dialogue about timely and relevant topics (e.g., COVID, School Shootings, etc.) that impact the education landscape and our communities. We’re also working hard to ensure our work is inclusive and accessible to everyone. In our inaugural 5-part series, we followed Chief Writer Allan Tellis as he explored how the global COVID-19 pandemic is producing unique local impacts in the Denver region. In this series, we dive into student success.
